Breathing exercises and body scans are healing tools I turn to regularly to release tension, stress and for pain management. They’re a great way to unwind and calm your nervous system. This in turn reduces inflammation in your body which helps you to dial down and cope with pain. It’s most effective when practiced regularly.

Find somewhere quiet to sit or ideally lie down. You could light a candle or burn some incense. Maybe lay a blanket over you and place a pillow under your head for support. Wherever you are, make sure you’re comfortable and warm.
