A dynamic physical practice that synchronises movement with breath.
Classes start with a short breathing exercise (pranayama) to connect the mind and body, calm the nervous system and prepare the body for the physical practice. KT teaches an alignment based flow, moving fluidly to music to strengthen, increase flexibility and improve balance. Clients are encouraged to listen to their bodies and KT offers adaptations for each pose to cater for all levels of ability. Therefore, classes can be as challenging or as nurturing as you need and are aimed to energise as well as help unwind from daily pressures.
